Ben and Ben

Let me first applaud your participation on this forum. Whilst we may not like the answers to our questions, this culture of open dialogue with some of your best customers is both important and welcome. I wish more airlines would take this approach.

I myself have strongly reduced my AC travel (and my posting on this forum). Having lived in the UK for ca 20 years, the majority of my travel has been LHR-YYZ, and in many cases YYZ-US destination for business. My travel has mostly been in J or in u/g fares, though occasionally I have been in the back. My impression, and recent experiences, of both the hard and the soft AC products have not been that encouraging. I have not had the pleasure of a HD 777, and the comments on this board mean I never will. I think the J product, at least based on my last flight about one year ago, is now tired and not competitive with other leading airlines. For the transatlantic flights I take, some of which would have been on AC, I now generally choose BA.

I will continue to follow the AC board to gauge developments, and perhaps one day I'll be back. In the meantime, thanks for coming to the coalface!
