Ugh, I keep half filling out this application and then reminding myself I want to wait until the beginning of the month so I'll have smaller balances reported.

I can second this. I almost always tweet banks first now, unless it's a complex matter like a dispute, they tend to be very knowledgable and empowered to think logically.
