I got turned away from B gates for my 14:30 flight to Denver due to a "security breach" and got sent through an A gate to arrivals.. Does anyone know what happened?

Great moment when a BA 380 was being towed towards the terminal and as I took a photo, a 747 dropped onto the runway to photo-jack the shot!
