Still looking at two itineries. One gets me just over 2hrs layover in LAX and MIA (737), the other nearly 4hrs at LAX and 58 mins at MIA (757)
I'd take the 737, in truth, just for the layovers as 58 mins can be a little tight if you get delays and long walk to your connection in MIA. The 737 is likely to have the new interior.
