Damn...I love DL so much I am almost DM for the year all on MRs....but I just tried to book a PHX-PDX July 4 trip and couldn't come up with any decent solutions for less than $572!!!!
And that schedule SUCKED!
Alaska was about $400...even Southwest was $368 for an ideal schedule.
Ugh....being in PHX I decided to check US Air.....
Had to buy it...
$238 with the exact days and exact schedule I wanted.
The dAArk side changes everything.
I have flown US Air once to the Dominican Republic back in 2012 on the company's dime. All I remember is that I had a 37-minute connection in Charlotte (maybe it was Philly?....I literally walked off one plane onto the other
)....and the stupid idiots sitting next to me in Y decided it would be awesome to bring aboard hamburgers with lots and lots of onions....God, I hate stupid people....
Its a 2hr non-stop flight....and I didn't elect to pay their $49!!!!!! fee (EACH WAY!!!!) to sit towards the front of the plane in REGULAR Y seats....ugh...it can't be THAT bad...?
2hrs nonstop....I feel like the Delta planes on the tarmac are going to laugh and point at me as I sit in my smooshed Y seat.....
So...if you're on a DL plane on July 3 in PHX and you see a US Air A319 heading to Portland please don't point fingers....
