I don't have "weekends." I work to what equates to about "2/3 time," and I choose when and where I work. Like I said...100% flexibility, which you can't put a price on. My job is 100% commission-based so obviously if I need to work more I can, and my pay will increase.
But what I learned after 3 years of 90-hr workweeks and never being home is that having flexibility and freedom makes me much more happier than more money. I have successfully found the harmonious balance between work and play.

No....same-day turns are not mini-vacations.
However, on other MRs in the past six months I have spent 2 full days in Amsterdam, 2 full days in Paris, and 7 full days in South Africa, which ARE mini-vacations as I got to see the cities and have a lot of fun!
My trip to AMS next week is actually for a week...but not a MR; I used 125k SkyMiles to get the ticket.
