Best route is to AUH (or even DXB) and then onward from there. QR used to fly there but no longer. If you have AA miles you can use them on EY.

Sri Lankan shows a weekly codeshare with Mihin Lanka from Colombo to SEZ. But I doubt that it will earn avios or TPs.
