You'll find lots of those kinds of camps along the eastern seaboard and inland Pennslyvania. Growing up in NY, every summer was 8 week daycamp.
This was also my experience growing up in Maryland. One location suggestion is Annapolis, Maryland, which has a Westin and Sheraton. There are several
interesting camps in that region along the Chesapeake Bay. From that list the
scientific and
sailing camps look really interesting.
