TIM offers 0.50 RS per day for 4G but has the poorest reception of all carriers.
Note most of the time you'll need a Brazilian social security number to open a SIM. The clerk can do it for you using his or hers but you'll have to wait 2 or 3 days for it to activate. It's the way things are in Brasil.
