Being in Rome right now, I'd say the 17-55 wouldn't be ideal, given it's an EF-S lens and the APS-C cameras have a conversion factor of 1.6, making it equivalent to 27mm on a full frame camera at its widest. The 16-35mm f/2.8L has been perfect for the 6D. I've mostly left the 24-70mm f/4L in the safe. If I had a crop frame camera, I'd probably want the EF-S 10-22mm and work around the fact that it's a f/3.5-4.5.
