Literally there must be an entire group of people on this forum who are entirely clueless about business travel - the ones who make it seem like we're all getting sent on all-expenses paid dream vacations every week and get paid oodles of money to do it...

There are several on the Hilton Forum that say business travelers are using their employer's money to earn points and status and act like we are on nice paid vacations in five star hotels on the company dime

I would rather be home at with my wife and kids in my own home (which I pay the expenses on regardless of if I am there or on the road) than to be stuck in a hotel room in BFE (or even a major city) on the firms dime.
