Thanks for all the tips. I've got a day in Doha in mid-June. MIA is the reason for the visit, though I thought we'd do the souq and.... Now I'm thinking the hop on hop off bus as I always love (the cheesiness of) those. I'm worried that the walk from MIA to the souq isn't really doable in that weather and also that cabs don't appear to be super plentiful. Thought of getting a rental car but since the MIA garage is closed, I think I'd rather we just do the tourist bus. Or, I was thinking we could head to the Four Seasons or another nice hotel for tea in the afternoon to escape the worst of the heat. Def. nervous about the heat but really looking forward to the trip.
