any chance upgrade award may become available later? or should i just go ahead and buy the ticket now? there is a double-miles promotion between Alaska and Emirates, and you get 10% off business class fare from Emirates. (about $4400 round trip, but I'm only traveling one way, so it'll be a throw-away ticket...) This promotion ends june 15 for travel until the end of November.
