China Airlines is 3-4-3. I am not too sure why would passengers want to fly CI in PE or Y unless it's drastically cheaper (or if they prefer Skycouch).
Is CI's Y+ cabin 8-abreast or 9-abreast? I'm wondering how they've managed to fit 6 more seats than BR in Y+?

The rear cabin is 10-abreast so the 18 extra seats roughly corespondents to the extra middle seat - so not much difference in pitch or total cabin space. The front cabin is 39 vs. 40 seats with similar lie-flat footprint so again, should be about the same cabin space. That points to Y+ on CI being 9-abreast.

If I'm right, this is going to be a pretty tight sardine can even in Y+.
