Yes, they suck. No idea how the AC or Heat is supposed to stay active while you sleep. Had one in a CY in Tacoma and nearly ripped it off the wall being woken up multiple times on night because of heat.

I read here once a possible solution is to tie a helium balloon near the sensor to create motion. Now I have to travel with a balloon? Any other creative ways? Not like this is going away...
