Another stay at the Topaz. Similar to my first stay with an upgrade to the Serenity Suite this time. Problems with my IC # being associated with my reservation but that was fixed at check in. Interesting service recovery at the freebie wine hour. The bar was filling up and a Scottish couple sits next to me. We chat and they note how awful the white wine tasted (it really was bad). The Kimpton staff member walking around refilling glasses is told the same as he looks to refill our glasses. Less than 5 minutes later, the staff member is back with a glass of "real" white for my new Scottish friend and a smiling "I hope you enjoy this more" - great CS in action.
