I've also seen this at SFO, and at JFK as well recently. Last week they started boarding almost 10mins before I expected at JFK for AA177, so when Mrs. G and I arrived from the FL to find a long line (and because we were in J) we just skipped to the front. Everyone was lined up in the Priority Lane.
(I only noticed one nasty stare, but wasn't paying that much attention)
When you "skipped to the front", how did you determine there were no other first or business class passengers still in the line that you might have skipped in front of?
