Just tried to make a booking on the AS website. As an AA Platinum, I thought I would be able to select Premium and Exit Row seats. However, I was not able to do so. So, is this something one should be able to do at booking, or do you have to call?
Tried a different browser - no difference. So, I went ahead and bought ticket without seat assignment. AFTER - but only after - I bought the ticket, this message appeared:
"Your AAdvantage Elite status has been confirmed.
There may be new seats available to you, click Change Seats to view the updated seat maps."
