So you are saying she has a DL AmEx account in her own name but the miles are being credited to your SM account? If so, sounds like she is the primary account holder so this would be a no no.
Apparently you have done it this way for years but if DL picks up on this, it could get real ugly. You could lose all your accumulated miles plus more. Hope neither of you have status because you could lose that, too. I know, an unintentional mistake but the airlines are getting tougher about enforcing their rules. Worse, they are winning in court.
