My sister and I went to Aruba, stayed at the Marriott - neither she nor I were impressed. It's o.k., but we thought rather bland. It's breezy, which is delightful, but not conducive to good hair days, lol, and sitting on the beach was tough because it's so windy you take a beating with blowing sand.

Sis and friends were with me on Curacao as well, which I thought had such beautiful, clear, blue, warm water and if you like to snorkel, the visibility is outstanding. I recall needing water shoes though to maneuver through the coral beachside. We stayed at the Hilton and the drive into town was very short. The moving bridge was kind of cool, the colorful buildings, and the fireworks display over dinner was a nice treat.

Have not been to St. Maarten but will say the beach by the airport might be interesting to try once since the planes fly incredibly low. Suspect once would be enough though.

Have fun wherever you decide to go!
