I will post this again - - It is by Status and then time of check-in. DCS has never been programmed to track fare status because - other than the booking class - the actual fare is not known in DCS and depending on the routing of the travel - the cost of the fare paid may not bear any relation to the booking class (and - in the case of IROPS or other items - people may be booked in a different class than the fare anyhow).

I do not yet know how the premium economy is treated yet - i.e. - is it treated as it's own cabin such that going from Economy to Business is a 2-cabin upgrade?

I would expect that whether you are in Economy or Premium Economy that you will be treated the same - and we are back to Status / Sequence Number.
