You need to first look at how many nights per year you will stay that are company funded, both this year and next. There is no point using a status match this year that you can not then maintain next year, or if hotel footprint does not meet your travel stay patterns.

In terms of additional programs, look at which allow a reduced number of nights eg HH-G you can make old with fewer nights via the stays qualification. Not all programs offer discounted qualifications options like HH via stays rather than nights. Personally I would if possible, target those programs allowing a lower stay (than nights) elite qualifying count as my secondary+tertiary hotel status programs.

Unless you can gain one worthwhile elite status via a credit card, I recommend just sticking with two hotel programs, which also helps build up meaningful and useful points totals for an extended stay for you, especially as seems you need 2rooms/night due to kids.

Multiple hotel points schemes spreading your points thinly is not nearly so bad as Airline Miles being spread over too many schemes though.

Also it is rarely beneficial status matching late in a calendar year, as you just win status for 1-3months this year and next 12months. Status match for jan+feb period often gives you status for 10months to December AND all the next year too !
aso if you eg try Match now, you need do NN nights i next 60/90 days and you say you already committed you Hilton stays... I suggest you need more flexibilit about your HH nights so you can status match now for NN nights in next 60/90 nights
