The real value is the mini RTW trips. I booked a trip YEG-MUC-TPE-YEG with 75,000 points (USDM transfer) for just $200 in taxes which would have normally cost $11,000 full fare. That includes Lufthansa, 2 segments on ANA (my favorite airline) and 2 Hello Kitty jet segments.
