Ahhhh, yes. I'm surrounded by luxury, which means the FA is making us drinks, compared to pre-poured cups of water 2 rows back & beyond. She even threw in the snack basket as a nice little touch, but I suppose that just means less to choose from later!

I believe I can pickup 25k MQM every year from my flying. I may need to go on a couple more/longer flights than normal but on average 25k would be attainable for me. Couple that with my future plans for the Reserve Amex and with my spend I'd be achieving GM status on a "normal" year. I think that is one of the soft goals, maintain Gold (and see how deep I can get in to possibly go further once I learn to stop spending so much on tickets)
