You've never met a bigger coffee snob than me (unless you know someone in the business?), so I would carry my own spoon, but I'm too big a snob to drink it anyway but black. I do travel with my own beans, filters, and for trips where I would actually check luggage (I guess that would be skis or scuba gear) I have my own grinder and french press or pour filter.

That all said, I can't see why anyone would need fresh cream to mix with stale month old roasted (and grounded) beans :^) (insert snob nose smiley here)

IMO, beans go stale about two weeks after being roasted (cooked that is, not ground). The only option is to know a local roaster where one knows they are buying beans roasted within the last 48 hours, or buy green beans (shelf like 12+ months) and roast at home (kind of like how we buy cook and eat our food).
