I have two 1 night stays coming up in July and trying to decide between the SPG's hotels or this hotel. I guess things have calmed down as I have not see the rate much less than the St. Regis.

I may be wrong here, but I had the understanding they did typically upgrade without a DSU. I think the chances of a BRG are fairly good. I checked a few dates in July and the hotel search engines are showing lower prices than Hyatt.com
