Advanced Booking Information

Good Morning,

So it's 6:50 am here in the UK and I just want to say BA's customer service is beyond AWFUL.

I'd appreciate it if any of you could help me out here. I'm flying LHR-DFW-YVR, and my BA booking is asking me for my address in the US in the advanced booking information section, however as I'm only transiting through dallas and not even leaving the airport what do I put?

I called BA and after a 10 minute wait at 6am to speak to some outsourced help from India they told me to put the state Vancouver is located, I told them it's in Canada, I'm transiting through Dallas. They said ok please hold.. 3 minutes later, ok you need to put Virginia this is where Vancouver is (????? there is a Vancouver in WA I think but I'm pretty sure not in Virginia and the one I'm after is definitely Canada of my visa is very wrong), so I explained to her its in Canada and Canada is not part of the USA. She tells me where is your hotel in Vancouver, I told her I haven't booked it yet, I'm simply trying to fill out the advanced customer info for the "Your Address in the USA" section as I'm not staying there, she tells me "ok sir when you book your hotel in Vancouver please check the address there it will tell you the state its in"... by this point I had given up and asked to speak to someone else, she refused to transfer me, after another 5 minutes of arguing about if Vancouver is in Virginia or Canada I asked her to transfer me again, 30 minute wait to speak to someone else... Can't speak to anyone from the UK or even someone slightly more educated in the matter until Monday. (I have nothing against her, just doing her job and didn't know better, just you'd think that phone line listed as the dedicated one for advanced passenger info they'd know this by now, or BA give them the info, I blame BA).

Don't forget you also get charged high rates per minute calling BA, by contrast AA I'm speaking to someone within 5 minutes, they're american, they're all lovely, transfers are instant when asked and they don't cost a penny.

So yeah I know this has been a bit of a rant, but any of you folks know what to put? I can't take calling BA again today

Thanks!
