I am not sure I understand your question. If there is availability on the non-stop, it will show the non-stop at the top of the list. Otherwise, it will show other connecting options, on DL metal or other carriers. If no availability at all, it will say no availability.
The question was that I could not even see the flights in the "Search by Schedule". For some other combinations, I could see the flights with a header that said "No availability". Its just that this AMS-YYZ wouldn't show up for KL.
