I am a flight noob so bare with me as I ask stupid questions. My mom, dad, and uncle want to go overseas. Dad has enough miles for two tickets and he buys a third ticket (economy) full price for my uncle. They book five months in advance. Uncle says he may not be able to go. Is it possible to cancel his ticket and get a refund? Also, if my mom was unable to go but my uncle was, would it be possible to change her award ticket to my uncle's name?

I'm guessing no to everything above, but I gotta ask anyway.
