One danger: AA still has 767s limping around (as has BA for that matter) and you don't want a substitution on that.
I see that on the dates in question the first and last AA departures LHR to ORD are 767s, so I certainly will avoid those two if I go for the combination!

Thanks for the tip about the different AA 777s!
