An express train leaves every 15 minutes, a normal train leaves every 30 minutes and a tube train leaves every 10 minutes or so. National Express coaches leave every 20 minutes or so and a dozen local bus routes serve the airport.
I'm not saying it's perfect, but if someone is still choosing to drive instead of use public transport, I can't see what improvements are going to make them switch.
A moment's pause for contemplation should tell you that the only rail connections out of Heathrow are in a North-Easterly direction. Some of us do not live in central London. Quite a lot of us, in fact. I live 26 miles South-East of Heathrow. I am committed to public transport options where they exist, and have chosen to live a short walk from a train station for that reason, but I would need to connect on two trains and one bus to get to Heathrow.
