Thanks Paralytic. It's actually your thread from the other week which has informed my approach to booking seemingly impossible seats!

The route I'm hoping to book tomorrow is LHR-IAD 26/04 (only the A380 flight - BA217) and return ORD-LHR 29/04 (any flight) - all in F.
