I did. Back in the day, we all carried these adaptors. They had them on the p.s. flights too when those were first rolled out. It seemed like most mainline UA flights had them in F, pre 9/11. I remember them being pretty unreliable and often going out.
Yeah and if recall the Empower adaptor was ridiculously expensive. But if you had one, you were a true road warrior.
