Buy Samsung Note/S (2/3) to Unlock for Global SIM from which provider in the US?
I'd prefer to buy a Note, but open to an S. Going to carry a 2nd phone for data and phone calls while traveling. Countries I regularly visit are: Japan, Singapore, Germany, Malaysia - others in SEA a bonus.

Reading on Wiki, I am thoroughly confused at which providers supply the networks I need.

I am guessing Sprint looks the best, but wasn't sure which frequencies technologies I need to look for.

I am more than capable of unlocking and rooting the phone as I prefer to use a custom ROM anyways, but just have no idea on which phone I should have. Can someone let me know which antenna's I'll need?
