I can answer my own questions now:

Yes turnaround is fairly easied. We parked at a remote stand and were bussed to terminal 2A. You have to go up the stairs for flight connections and after a 10min walk you arrive at security. There after it is straight to the lounge.

The lounges are another level up, just past the first big duty free shop. I've tried the Cathay Pacific one and it is airy and comfortable. Typical noodle stand and good food selection.

Just as I entered they made the announcement for the immediate return flight to LHR.
