I've found the AA lounge to be better than QF but have used it at times when AA had flights departing (and QF didn't). Think it's the reverse in the afternoons when AA doesn't have flights left and QF has.

AA newly refurbished, great showers, nice feel and better food (for above flight reasons) in the morning.
