Agreed! I continue to be surprised that YYC-IAH is Jazz and not mainline, especially at 1700+ miles. Every time I've been on this route, the planes have been full and the fares have been ridiculously expensive.

The CRA does have decent pitch, but the overhead bins are inadequate (there are regulation sized carry-ons that won't fit in the bins) and they don't offer skycheck, which is a big issue that could be easily addressed. Seats are a bit narrow too, and no ovens for hot meals in J, but it is nice to have IFE on a regional jet and it's much better than the CRJ.
