That is not correct. The Android UA app will reach parity with the iOS app eventually -- probably by the end of 2014. iOS was upgraded first because the stats are crystal clear: iOS device owners are far more likely to use their devices for apps and movie streaming than are Android owners. iOS is also much easier to develop for, since there are exponentially fewer device combos to test.

So if you really want an Android device, get one. Just be willing to wait a bit for streaming inflight movies on UA.
