Did you call in to cancel and see if they would offer you a retention bonus? I plan on spending the 10k within the first week or two, getting the points after first statement closing, calling retention to see if there's a 5-10k bonus and then SM'ing to close account and get AF refunded. I did not even call and try, the points at $0.03 (5,000 for $150) was not worth it IMO. I did get $200 free though through the credit as other have done so it is all good.
