So then why would you prefer 18? The one thing I don't like about 18 is you have the knees of the passengers behind you in your seat, because they don't have the legroom
As for maradori, I can't remember ever being auto-assigned a preferred seat by AC. I don't really care though, because the first thing I do after booking a flight is change my seats anyway.
