As mentioned above, EF can show you historical fare which was for sale for that particular route. However, EF cannot show you if that fare was actually available for a particular date. It is possible that there was a published fare for sale on that route for that date but there was no availability.@:-)
Right, I think OP may not understand this is a very complex issue. I assume he wants to knows the fare prices that were actually available for purchase and not just the published fares. For that, you would also need to capture fare bucket availability at various intervals on various flights. Much of what people see as fare volatility is actually changes in fare bucket availability of existing published fares for flights, not the publishing of new fares.
