Oh god im dreading taking our 6 month old on a CE flight to LIS soon.
Being new to parenting i soon realised that when he has a meltdown in public im more embarassed than anyone, i completely understand if i was sat somewhere and a baby was crying would i like it...usually its a no so we leave or go somewhere else in the restaurant/shopping centre/cafe etc etc. We are both in the firmly behave in public camp before i receive any comments can i point out.
I dont go out of my way to make him cry obviously but as he is teething no amount of whatever skills we have sometimes help. Its life, he's a baby and i think people have to remember that we were all kids once in our life. Some time people with the high and mighty attitude about kids (barring the down right naughty, misbheaving, couldnt give a toss parents) have to realise its just one of them things. Nothing annoys me more than naughty children, but i think children at an age who should know better are different to the "screaming baby" who doesnt know any better and maybe teething/ears popping etc. Were doing a taster to see if our nerves cope before we book LH.
Prepare for comments.....
