Anyhow enjoy your first First.

If it is Old First then as clubman has stated then 50k Avios per person, per sector. Not ideal but better than nothing.

However saying that I don't know the date of your flight but if you do a 'dummy' booking for your flight on ba.com for Club World and go all the way through to the end (before payment I may add!) then you will be able to see the seat map.

From that if CW starts in row 12 then it is a High-J plane (70 Biz seats) and they are all 100% New First.

If CW starts from row 17 then it is a 52 seater Biz class plane and there is a 60 % approximate chance of Old First.

Just an update on this. A new award flight opened up from MSP to MIA and then MIA to LHR instead MSP to BOS and then BOS to LHR! Therefore, the MIA flight shows that CW starts at row 12 :-) So looks like both my flights will be the new 1st class! I'm excited!

The MIA lounge also looks better which is 1 of the reasons I switched my flight. Last reason, I get to leave MSP at 9:25am instead of 6:25am I can sleep in.
