Were you left with $3.5K (assuming all $1.5K was counted towards the $5K monthly) OR was it $4K ($500 was not counted but $1K was counted towards the $5K monthly)?
The latter for me last month: $500 initial temp load + $1K registered temp + $4K perm = 5.5K for the month. When I tried to load another $500 it was rejected.
