Well, yes, but . . . the lodges that share traversing are usually the smaller ones, and they do so out of necessity. They may also traverse adjacent properties that are not commercial, for which they pay a monthly fee. The lodges that do not share traversing are generally the larger ones (Mala Mala, Singita). They simply don't need to, they have enough land of their own. That of course also brings the advantage of exclusivity.

Note that the correct name of the reserve is Sabi Sand (not Sand
s). It is named after the Sabi and Sand rivers. There are websites that use that s in their URL, I suspect these are commercial middlemen trying to attract business from those who've got the spelling wrong.
