I'm still confused (and I did read the wiki). Someone said x - pvg - hkg - pvg - x doesn't work. What if the 2nd stop in pvg is just an airside transit?

I am doing <US> - PVG (2 nights) - SGN - PVG (no stay) - <US>

with the US - PVG - US on one ticket and the PVG - SGN - PVG on another. It seems to me this satisfies the above requirement but I have a feeling it won't work for TWOV. Will it?
