SFO-HNL-KOA(SFO-HNL on DL transfering to a codeshare on HA for HNL-KOA) is an option that day. Doesn't get in much earlier but it does get in about an hour earlier (departs SFO at 3:00 pm, arrives KOA at 7:35 pm).

There are also nonstops to KOA from SJC on AS, which depending on the date you return is pricing around $560.
