I've just looked back at my flight history and I got the morning flight from ORD-LHR which was actually on their 767 with MCE.

As BA6501 rightly pointed out, this does not have fewer seats across in Economy in the MCE section, but the 2-3-2 layout is good and there is extra legroom. I therefore can't comment on the 777 out of ORD.
