I've done this route recently on both BA and AA. AA use their older planes on this route however if you have OneWorld Sapphire or Emerald status you can reserve their Main Cabin Extra (MCE) seats free of charge which have one less seat across the width on each row and approximately 6 inches of extra legroom. You can also pay to reserve the MCE seats if you don't have OneWorld status or select them at OLCI if they remain available.

Although the new WT cabin on BA is refreshed, the extra legroom in MCE made me prefer AA. Just my opinion though.
