Having flown Ryan air
There is lots to complain about with Ryan air,
horrible hard landings, (ryan air refuses to allow pilots to use reverse thrust.)
the way they waste your time by having you just stand around for sometimes hours because the staff is slow
the horrible gate scenes, the lack of jetways
the arbitrary bag sizer at the gate, depending upon the attitude of the staff more than the sizer itself.
the immoral lottery for "children's charities" the scam of the "free flight" prize
the scam of their gift cards
the disgusting way they treat disabled pass
After traveling with them often and for years from personal observation they are not the airline of silly British tourists but the affordable travel option and sometimes the only option for the working class. Look at many of their destinations esp in Eastern Europe. The unspoken truth with Ryan Air is that they are the airline of the poor, often going to smaller cities with no other airfare service.
